Original drawings in color on white grain drawing paper.
Colored pencils, charcoal and graphite on paper.
Closed (and drawings page format): 9.2 x 17.3 cm. Open: 9.2 x 34.2 cm.
Cover title, title page, 7 original drawings in colors, of which 1 double, 8 drawing-pages, signature and date (1974) in the last page, everything drawn or written by hand by Annette Messager. The book itself is made by Annette Messager and sewn by her. The paper covering the covers itself is drawn by the artist, the front one bearing the title handwritten by A. Messager.
Signed and dated '74 in the last page.
Excellent condition.
A very personnel piece by Annette Messager, very close to herself: the drawings are really her eyes, very realistic, and who knows Annette Messager knows how much her eyes are important (and superb) in her personality and so revealing of her character. A very true, intimate and personal piece.
