friederike pezold "From the begining of her artistic work, Friederike Pezold plays with her body's image and produces herself in photographs. Different from a simple portrait, her images split up her body photographed from video pictures. Her body becomes the starting point for a new corporal language. From 1973, she is developing 'the new language of signs of a sex, from laws of anatomy, geometry and kinetics'. The work of Friederike Pezold can be placed in the lengthening of the experiments on body by the Vienese artists.
