"In 1963, Daniel Spoerri opens in Paris, the restaurant of the galerie J, where he prepares every evening menus, the remains of which are trapped, daily glued to the table where they have been consumed. This experiment led him to open, in 1968, a restaurant in Düsseldorf, Germany, then, in 1970, the Eat Art Gallery, where many artists, will come and elaborate food works. (...). Announcement for the show at Dorothea Loehr Galerie, Franckfort on Main, Germany, 11.12. 1963. D. Spoerri created the "Dorotheanum", a "Non-profit Institute for the promotion, publicising and easement of the Suicide" at Galerie Dorothea Loehr.
Text of the annoncement:
" Wissen Sie was "Dorotheanum ist? Ich weiss es auch noch nicht ganz genau, denn ich werde es auf dem Dachboden der Galerie Dorothea Loehr für Sie bauen und lade Sie ein, sich am 12.11. 63 um 20 Uhr daraus herauszutasten, was eventuell etwas schwierig ist, denn sehr hell wird es darin nicht sein. Und zwar könnnen Sie das von 20 Uhr bis 22 Uhr versuchen. Nachher nämlich findet bei Gunthard Lamche, Ginnheimerlandstr. 40 (street name and number crossed out and replaced by "Unicafe" handwritten in blue ink) ein riesiges "Schlackenfest" statt, mitt dem Orchester Benno Walldorf. Als Eintritt bitte ich Sie einen Odo-ro-no Stift vorzuzeigen, zu hinterlegen oder abzuliefern. Und dann, wenn Sie an diesem Abend nicht wollen, können Sie das "Dorotheanum" auch einige Wochen später noch besuchen in der Galerie Dorothea Loehr, Schumannstr. 25, Frankfurt am Main, Telepfon 774907".

As many were used in the Restaurant Spoerri (Düsseldorf, Germany), copies remaining are not that common.

Transparent plastic envelope for folder containing various elements all related to a sausage: the wrapping paper from the pork butcher, the sausage paper label, the net in which it was, and the transparent paper in which it was originally wrapped. On the plastic envelope, three white paper labels are mounted on the front side: one with the blue rubber stamp "Attention Oeuvre d'Art, Daniel Spoerri"; a second one with the title handwrtitten in black ink; and a third one with, handwritten in black felt pen, "Spoerri 2", this piece being the second one he gave for the Boutique abérrante. On the other side, one more white paper label: "Chrüsi Müsi de Spoerri" stamped in blue. 30.2x23.1 cm. Created for the Spoerri's "Boutique Aberante" at Centre Pompidou, Paris, 1977.
