Signed, dated Octobre 68 in ballpoint pen in the lower right corner.
Date ans signature are barely visible, somewhat defaced by time, but still readable.

This work has been originally folded in four. Folds remains and there are also many smaller horizontal creases due tothe great fragility of the non-woven tissue which marks very easily. Pin hole to each corner. In general: Very Good.

The registration/inventory card of the Galerie Jean Fournier, Paris, comes with the work.

Early work, one year before the founding show of the Support/Surface group, "La Peinture en Question", at the Musee of Le Havre, June 7 -July 7,1969, by the four painters Louis Cane, Daniel Dezeuze, Patrick Saytour and Claude Viallat, folowed next year by Vincent Bioules and Daniel Valens and joined, in 1971, by Andre-Pierre Arnal, Noel Dolla, Toni Grand and Jean-Pierre Pincemin.

Each linoetching contains prints in blue by Viallat and text in French in red by Badin.
Entirely made by hand, as well the text and each of the caracters as the images (the Viallat "shapes").
Kept in a cardboard portolio. 50 x 35.6 cm.
